Programming

It was the part of the game-making process that, despite not having done it very well, was a source of pride. I definitely overcommitted myself. And in hindsight I realise that it would have been much better to use an existing engin for this purpose.

But my goal was not to take over the basic operations, but to code them all myself. (I understand better and see what is happening in the backgroung) The process has been both a nightmare and extremely inspiring. I think anyone who has done programming already knows what I'm talking about. Developing even just a simple recursive function is great. You feel extremely satisfied and smart afterwards. Spending hours debugging why my code is doing something different than what it's supposed to do is a nightmare.
